This ECTS guide provides all the necessary information for those foreign students who wish to study at the University of Patras. We hope it will be of help. The University of Patras was selected by the European Commission to participate in the ECTS Pilot Scheme in the field of Chemistry. Consequently, all the appropriate measures were taken to ensure academic recognition of studies abroad. Since 1996 all the Departments participate in the ECTS Programme and the University co-operates with more than one hundred and fifty European Universities, within the framework of the SOCRATES/ERASMUS Programme. At the University of Patras we will make every effort to make our foreign students’ stay as productive and pleasant as possible.
